What to Expect

Products may be dispatched from multiple distribution centres, so orders containing multiple items might not arrive at the same time.

Our standard delivery service is kerbside delivery to your business or residence. This service does not include packaging removal, pallet disposal, assembly, or setup.

While we strive to meet delivery times quoted in good faith, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to deliver your goods as close to the specified date as possible. However, we are not liable for delays in the delivery of goods.

Redelivery

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, anytime between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery. A redelivery charge may apply if delivery fails due to the recipient not being available.

Packaging

Large orders may be palletised for safe transportation and to minimise the risk of damage. In these cases, couriers are unable to open pallets or transport individual goods due to insurance policies. Palletised deliveries are classified as kerbside, meaning you are responsible for accepting delivery at the kerbside. If this is not suitable, please discuss alternative shipping options with your sales advisor before placing your order. Pallets and packaging will be left with you for recycling or disposal.

Damaged Goods

Upon receiving your goods, inspect them carefully for damage and inform the courier’s driver immediately if any issues are found. If you cannot inspect the goods fully, sign the consignment note as “unexamined.” Please note that signing as “received in good condition” may make you liable for any damages.

In the rare event of receiving damaged goods, please notify us via email at sales@shocfurniture.co.uk or by calling 01484 300270 within 24 hours of receipt. Include photographic evidence of the damage in your email.
